Adoration

Every first Friday of the month our St. Catherine of Siena Parish, with unrestrained joy, celebrates the Real Presence of Jesus Christ during the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

A great part of our parish's vitality is the adoration of our Eucharistic Lord. How many graces have come from that Adoration! Of course what makes it possible are the people who commit to spending one hour a month with our Lord.

In the following bulletins I will talk about the importance of Eucharistic Adoration, different ways to celebrate Eucharistic Adoration and things to do during Eucharistic Adoration. Those who are not committed Adorers will have the opportunity to learn more about it and hopefully participate in it. This is such a simple but important service we can give to our parish, which brings such graces to ourselves and others. Our Lord asks all of us: "Can you not watch with Me one hour?"

And many thanks to all of our committed Eucharistic Adorers! And to those who co-ordinate this important ministry! May our Lord reward you!

Once again, thanks to those who helped with our Picnic and Silent Auction last Sunday. A special thank you to Audrey Hrynyk and her team who coordinated the ticket sellers. We had close to 400 attendees. Also, Carrie and Rich Kopf for picking-up the food.
