Camp St. Catherine

Last Week's CAMP ST. CATHERINE was a great success thanks to all those who supported this faith formation program for our children. 45 campers attended this year's SONWEST ROUNDUP, over 39 teen counselors and 10 adult volunteers all contributed to the fun and adventure. The children learned about Jesus and Moses through stories, songs, games, crafts and snacks.

I want to express my profound gratitude to Judith La Tournous our PCL and Camp St. Catherine director; Deacon Tony Russo; camp coordinators: Lisa Sforza, Loretta Cuccia, Janice Jurgensen, Carol Way, Donna Ignacz, Patti Letko, Holly Wheelock, Juliana Kraft, Jennifer Beylickjian, Jodi Deignan and to the large number of volunteers who helped make our Camp St. Catherine such a huge success. The enthusiasm of all, campers and volunteers was contagious.

The children, their parents, teachers, and those who helped all agree that this week was a blessed experience. What you have done to bring our "little ones" closer to God can only bring you hidden blessings from the One who sees and knows the true intentions of our hearts. May your spirit of volunteerism continue to spread throughout our parish and beyond!

Once again, I'm very grateful to all for making this annual camp such a beautiful expression of faith and fun.
